Caribe Sunset Penthouse...
Caribe Sunset is one of the coolest vacation rental condos on Cozumel! This luxury penthouse is located just two blocks from the blue on blue waters of the Caribbean!
The penthouse spans three floors with two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and three Mexican-tiled, whirlpool tubs, with one on the rooftop terrace for enjoying the sunsets and evening stars. We have just added a new palapa on the main rooftop terrace for all-day private island lounging! You can climb the spiral staircase to access the Sunset Terrace providing incredible views and balmy tropical breezes!
- This Cozumel Vacation rental condo is a beautifully appointed penthouse that will sleep
five adult guests. There are two bedrooms
located on the third and fourth floors. Each is furnished with a queen-sized
bed (the master bedroom has a romantic wrought-iron bed!)
and a private bathroom with whirlpool. In addition, the living room contains a
full-sized futon that can accommodate one adult or two children.
The home is full of large windows and sliding glass doors, a beautiful, private rooftop terrace with palapa, and a balcony to capture the sunlight and the ocean breezes that are always available. The master bedroom has a 15-foot domed ceiling that naturally circulates the cool breezes, or, of course you can always turn on the air-conditioner. On the private rooftop terrace there is a whirlpool and a dining area to enjoy comfortable outdoor living.
The furniture is handmade, and the doors and cabinetry are custom-built. A decorator brought in fabrics, tiles, and paint to create an authentic Mexican theme in the warm colors of the sunset. To make you feel like a true native, Caribe Sunset boasts colorful artwork that was selected from all over Mexico.
This spectacular Cozumel vacation rental condo is completely up to date with AC throughout, a fully-equipped kitchen (with convection oven and stovetop, microwave, blender, juicer, cappuccino/espresso machine, coffee maker, etc.), VCR, TV, cable with English channels, stereo, CD player, washer, dryer, iron, hair dryer, winding staircase, vaulted domed ceiling, and a giant walk-in closet in the master bedroom. There are informative books about Cozumel, Mexico and its history, games, movies, and music. We also offer a small paperback library with a “take a book, leave a book” policy!
We now offer a small, but well stocked, Liquor Shelf perfect for a morning pick me up or some late night last minute craziness! If you would like, just let us know and we can have Eddie, our loves to party manager, mix up a pitcher of Pat's Perfect Margaritas and have it waiting your arrival!
- Caribe Sunset is conveniently located in the
highly desirable and secure Corpus Christi neighborhood,
and you can walk nearly everywhere. Cozumel is a very safe island, and we always feel
safe walking through town even at night. The ocean, restaurants, and shopping are just a
short stroll away. If you do need a taxi, they are readily available just around the corner..
This penthouse is perfectly situated for families, divers, adventure-seekers, or those who just want to relax. Cozumel's best grocery store, Chedraui, and a brand new mini-mall are just across the street. If you like, you can shop for fresh Mexican pastries and produce everyday, then catch a first run film at the six-screen theater in the mall.

Vicki VIt was great to have a big supermarket across the street & we'd raid their bakery daily. Caribe does have a peek-a-boo view of the ocean on its fabulous sun terrace and it was fun to watch gigantic cruise ships seemingly float down the main drag.

We had a great time and we really like the place. The hot showers were great! I also like the "home" feel because if you looked around for awhile you could probably find whever you needed, tape, candles, cards...you name it. Izakun was very nice and the 6 pack was a really nice touch from her. She showed us everything and it seems like you have a good partner in her. Thanks again for the wonderful place and we look forward to bringing out family back soon.

Caribe Sunset was the perfect place for us. As a frequent visitor to the island, I have stayed in hotels, apartments, oceanside villas, and B&Bs. Your place was the most comfortable, welcoming and homiest lodging I have ever stayed in. The photos on your website do not do it justice.
There was not one thing during that whole week that we lacked. An abundance of beach towels, every kitchen appliance and gadget, working AC and internet are just a few of the things that made our stay so enjoyable. The rooftop terrace was frequently used, from coffee in the morning, to after-beach relaxing in the whirlpool, to visiting with friends over cold Sols in the evening. The convenience of Chedraui and the "beer warehouse" made provisions a breeze.
You have a true gem and I am grateful that you are so generous as to open your lovely slice of paradise IN paradise to guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful condo. Not only were we impressed by the size of the place, but the way it was decorated made you feel you were definitely in for a good time! The rooms are huge! I also used your kitchen quite a bit and every utensil I needed was furnished for our use. It felt like home. We both appreciated the location of the condo as well, within walking distance of two shopping malls and a food market. The people of Cozumel were incredible! Very friendly and we always felt safe there. A beautiful island with beautiful people! The beaches were great too! The best snorkeling I've done in years with a variety of fish and coral formations that kept you coming back for more......and that's just what we plan on doing. The condo was INCREDIBLE!!!!! The photos don't do it justice. I loved being so close to Chedraui and it was an easy walk to Hotel Barracuda to catch my dive boat. I would like to reserve the condo for the same time frame next year! Once again, thank you so much for a great condo and a great stay!!

Just thought I'd take a minute to let you know how we did at your tropical "get away". I love the way you've decorated the place! It makes me want an extra home to decorate myself. My boys had the time of their lives in Cozumel...but then at 17 and 18 years old, wouldn't you too? We sat out on the deck in the moonlight. I wanted them to experience life as it is in Mexico, and they did. We had no need for the air conditioner, the weather was very comfortable, never too hot or humid. We really enjoyed our vacation, love Mexico and how easy it is to just kick back when you're there. Thank you for opening your beautiful home away from home to us, we'd love to go back again someday. Adios!!
